Harga Nokia E7 $ 635
Nokia has pulled the curtains on the Nokia E7 at the Nokia World 2010 event in London, presenting it as the successor of the Nokia 9000 Communicator, a 14-year old brick phone with a keyboard (and an antenna).
The E7 is basically the N8 with a keyboard and looks A LOT like a reworked version of the T-Mobile Sidekick (the one powered by Danger, that was eventually acquired by Microsoft back in February 2008).
This model however, which is a direct follow up to the E90 comes with a 4-inch tilting touchscreen display with a 640x360 pixels resolution, Powerpoint compatibility, an 8-megapixel camera with dual-LED flash, support for HD recording, anodized aluminium body, 10.2mbps HSDPA, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, USB on-the-go, 16GB onboard storage, HDMI and Dolby Digital Plus.
The E7 will be launched in Q4 alongside the C6 and the C7, and is powered by the Symbian^3 OS.
Finnish mobile giants Nokia have set down the gauntlet to their market rivals by unveiling three new smartphones at the Nokia World conference and stating their desire to reclaim dominance over their increasingly competitive rivals.
"Today, our fightback to smartphone leadership shifts into high gear," stated Niklas Savander, head of Nokia markets unit.
Re-affirming their confidence in taking part their market, the company introduced three new phones – the E7, a new model of the existing C6 and the C7. The Nokia E7 (pictured above) is the crown jewel in Nokia's range, and clearly aimed at business users.
The E7 is expected to retail for €495 and offers a 4-inch 640x460 touchscreen, sliding QWERTY keyboard and an 8MP camera that is capable of recording 720p video.
The C6 has a 3.2-inch AMOLED screen and 340MB of internal user memory. The C7 has a 3.5-inch AMOLED screen and 350MB of internal memory and 8GB of storage memory. Both the C6 and C7 feature 8MP cameras and the ability to record 720p video.
